There are a lot of places in the good ol' USA that make this claim "If you don't like the weather in (insert state here) just wait a minute." Well, Oklahoma OWNS that claim! Yesterday afternoon it was 70 degrees and darn near spring-like! Within minutes (yes, literally minutes) the promised cold front moved through and the temperature dropped 40 degrees. Then, overnight, we ended up with enough sleet and ice to close all area schools. So what a perfect day to make cards! I used Jen's Sketch from a couple of weeks ago and came up with a cozy little snowman creation. . .
This precious image is from Stampin Up! I stamped it in Versafine Black Ink and colored it in with Copic markers. I used white Liquid Applique the create the 3-D pom poms and fur on the hats. Since the snowmen were obviously not getting any love having been stamped on white paper and all, I made 'em smile with a swish of pearlescent white chalk from Pebbles. The DP is from a fresh new pack of Christmas paper by DCWV. For the embellishment, I used my new Cuttlebug snowflake dies - I LOVE 'em!
My SCS Anniversary is just around the corner - more yummy blog candy is on the way!
