Whimsy & Stars Studio New Release - August 2013 - Ribbon Days

Good morning friends!  Today the Whimsy & Stars Studio Design Team is showcasing another wonderful release for the month of August!  We are thrilled to be showing you TWO new images which I am certain you will want for your digi collection.  Introducing. . .Ribbon Boy and Ribbon Girl!

These images are so amazingly versatile and each of us has a "ribbon" in our life. . .think cancer research, autism, diabetes and Alzheimer's disease, not to mention our deployed soldiers.  Since I am the sister of an active duty soldier, I chose to go with the Yellow Ribbon today. . .

I must admit getting a little teary-eyed when I put this card together.  It brought back memories of my brother being deployed in Afghanistan.  Here is a close-up of the ribbon. . .

Whimsy & Stars Studio New Release - August 2013 - Penelope

I always get so excited about the new releases from Whimsy & Stars Studio and this month is certainly no exception!  We are going to have a total of THREE new images during August and you won't want to miss them!  They are MUST HAVE'S! 

Today we are showcasing our sweet girl named "Penelope". . .

Isn't she just the cutest?  I LOVE her!  Such a versatile image - birthday, celebration, congratulations, etc.  I chose to make an all occasion card - take a look. . .

I loved the open spaces on this image which allowed for paper piecing. . .here's a close-up. . .

And, I borrowed a sentiment from My Favorite Things Bunches of Birthday Wishes, which can be found here.  I also used the Make A Wish Balloon Dies from Taylored Expressions.
